This one-hour session, conveniently held on Zoom, is the perfect first step for anyone considering becoming a volunteer tutor. The evening is structured to be both informative and interactive. The first thirty minutes will feature a presentation by a member of the LVCA team, likely led or organized by Rita Thomas, the Volunteer and Program Coordinator. This presentation will delve into the heart of LVCA’s mission: providing free, confidential, one-on-one and small group instruction in basic literacy and English as a Second Language.
