Charlottesville, VA – Adults looking to practice their English conversational skills from the comfort of their own home are invited to join a weekly virtual Conversation Group hosted by Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville/Albemarle (LVCA). This engaging and supportive session takes place every Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Facilitated by a dedicated volunteer, Christine, this conversation group provides a relaxed and welcoming environment for English language learners to gain confidence in speaking and listening. As part of LVCA’s comprehensive offerings, which include one-on-one tutoring and various levels of English and citizenship classes, this group is an excellent opportunity for learners to put their skills into practice.
Participants can expect an hour of interactive and practical conversation on a range of everyday topics. The sessions are designed to help attendees:
