Charlottesville, VA – Adults looking to practice and improve their fundamental English speaking and listening skills are invited to join the Basic Conversation Group hosted by Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville/Albemarle (LVCA). This welcoming and supportive group meets weekly on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. in room J-125 at the Jefferson School City Center.
The conversation group is a key component of LVCA’s mission to provide free, confidential, one-on-one and small group instruction in basic literacy and English as a Second Language to adults in the Charlottesville and Albemarle County community. The session is designed for learners who are beginning to build their conversational abilities and want a friendly, low-pressure environment to practice.
